In
a recent survey of Asian organizations 86% of them do
not have a talent management and succession plan in
place for top positions. Of the 14% which said that
they have a succession plan, 50% have not implemented
the leadership development programmes to grow and groom
the second echelon leaders to prepare them for their
future roles and responsibilities. In other words, up
to 93 % of Asian organizations will be left in a lurch
if a few of the top echelon leaders were to walk out
together.
